“In 1964 Davidson reintroduced slag glass for the first time in over 60 years. Intially, Davidson did not have a name for this product, but ‘marble Glass as a name first appeared in June 1964. most of the pieces were produced in a mixture of purple and white glass, although some orange and white pieces were made. As well as introducing some of the Victorian designs in this form, some later designs were also used, including the fan vase, 697 candlesticks, 292 bulb bowl, 313 Grecian vase, and even a Chippendale cream.”
