2-piece centrepiece - classical female figurine on which sits a 9.5 inch diameter random surface-textured bowl. Overall height 10.2 inches.

RD number to base, along with 'FOREIGN'. Probably made by Libochovice, Czechoslovakia, then imported into Britain.

Max & Jacques Guggenheim were importers of chinaware, and of glassware (made mostly by the Libochovice Glass Company in Czechoslovakia). The also acted as British registration agents for foreign companies wishing to import glassware into Britain and. registered 16 designs between 1897 and 1938.
