Clear pressed glass decanter of hexagonal section, each panel divided horizontally by two set of triple raised lines. Circular neck rim with single flange ring. Raised bell-shaped bottom with plain circular rim, which has raised, poorly-defined 'TZ, Rd. No. 728812'. [Presumed original] stopper with hexagonal pointed top and open 'bubble' to bottom. Height to top of neck ring 22.1cm, and 28.6cm with stopper in place. Weight 694gm.
RD 728812, registered on 2 March 1927 by Joseph [Kilvert] Clifton Cottle of Napier Avenue, Fulham, later moved to Upper Richmond Road, East Sheen (died 20th April 1937). Importer of (probably mostly Czech) glassware (numerous designs registered from 6 January 1927 to 17th April 1936).
