RD 751445

Clear pressed glass decanter or cordial bottle with [apparently original] stopper. RD 751445, registered on 16 January 1930 by Joseph [Kilvert] Clifton Cottle of Napier Avenue, Fulham, later moved to Upper Richmond Road, East Sheen (died 20th April 1937). Importer of (probably mostly Czech) (numerous designs registered from 6 January 1927 to 17th April 1936). Also raised 'TZ' on base.
Cottle was an importer and agent for glassware, and the raised TZ on the base almost certainly indicates that the decanter was made in Czechoslovakia (though the precise manufacturer is still unknown). Im pretty sure that the stopper is the original.
