Edward Moore lidded pressed glass bowl, Rd. No. 82606, 30 September 1887
A clear, pressed glass, lidded, 2-handled, footed sugar? bowl by EDWARD MOORE and Co., Tyne Flint Glass Works, South Shields, the bowl interior bearing the embossed Reg. No 82606 (allocated 30 September, 1887). Foot, bowl and lid are heavily gadrooned, but have wide bands of moulded frosted decoration with thistles and daisies. Stands 15cm high (to top of lid finial); top bowl rim diameter 14.6cm (excluding handles). Very unusual to find bowl and lid in this pattern.
