Of all of the Trinket Sets made, this one appears to have been the most popular. Again it is based on the 283 range of glassware. What makes this set outstanding is the Trinket Tray. The tray normally comes with an impressed design which Davidson boasted:
The eight piece set consisted off:
No 5 (with intaglio decoration) or 5P (Plain) Oval tray 15 by 8 inches
Two short 2.5 inch high candlesticks
Two 3 inch pin trays
One 5 inch diameter powder jar
Two 3 inch diameter powder jars
This set was produced from the early 1920s and possibly before. Most examples found today have the impressed design on the trinket tray.
Production of the plain No 5P tray in Cloud Glass ceased in 1935. It appears to have only been made in Amber and Orange Cloud Glass.
