Davidson pattern no. 291 'Tutankhamen' bulb bowl
Davidson pattern no. 291 'Tutankhamen' bulb bowl in black glass.

Photo © Lee Burgess.

In 1923, Davidson introduced the Tutankhamen bowl (pattern no. 291). This small, square, bulb bowl reflected the passion amongst the public for all things Egyptian following the opening of Tutankhamen’s tomb. Made in black, jade and [rare] cloud glass.
