Art Deco Stuart Crystal cut glass sundae / grapefruit glass, acid etched on the underside of the foot with ‘Stuart | England’ and ‘Rd. 719538’ (allocated 9 March 1926). The shallow bowl is in the classic Stratford rings shape, and is decorated with a simple criss-cross cut pattern just below the plain rim. The ‘saucer’ type foot has an upward curving rim which is decorated underneath with 8 pairs of radial cuts. The pontil mark is smoothed and slightly hollowed.
