Sowerby pattern 18?? comportier, 2-piece, moulded & cut
A 2 –piece comportier in clear glass by Sowerby. The top and separate pedestal are moulded, but the outer rim of the top and pedestal foot are wheel cut. 12 inches tall.

Shown on page 91 of Sowerby pattern book XI (1885), but the pattern number itself is cropped. The position in the pattern suggests that it is somewhere in their ‘1800’ series.
