A clear glass lidded butter dish by Geo. Davidson, RD 549518, registered 18 September 1909.

The design consists of ribs or flutes rising from the base of the piece which meet a toothed decorative band about half way up. This design formed the basis of the 1910 suite of glassware which was made up until the early 1960s.
